Stewart Adam Montgomery, Jr. also affectionately called, Captain Sam. He spent most of his adult life on the high seas. Four years in the U. S. Navy, then decades in the Merchant Marines. He now spends much of his time sharing stories with his retired neighbors about many of his experiences while serving aboard ships for all those years. Stories include times dealing with huge open sea storms, riding out two tidal waves, many onboard accidents, serving in two different war zones, finding live humans in metal shipping containers, adopting two children from one shipping container, and so many more eventful times. I’ve been privileged to record many of Captain Sam’s stories. With his permission, I can now share so many of these interesting stories with all of you.
